DIALNET is a current awareness service for Spain's scholarly community, providing citation records for books, journal articles, and theses. It covers approximately 7000 journals, of which about 1600 are available fully or in part in fulltext format. Date range coverage for each journal varies, often complete back to the first issue. Theses are fulltext. The project, currently a collaboration of ten Spanish university libraries, began in 2001, but its table-of-contents coverage may include many decades of an individual journal.
